Taylor’s Seven-Layer Bars

Description

Knowing how much Tim loved Taylor's Seven-Layer Bars, I made a batch for him. He told me Taylor's were just a bit better. It was the same recipe. Of course, now if he wants them, he needs to get his daughter to make them.

Taylor sent me a picture of this recipe for inclusion in the Yum, Yum, Guys! cookbook. Based on the paper color and font in the image, I said, "Wait, I have that cookbook." It's from "A Taste of Oregon."

Ingredients

½ cup butter
1 (7-ounce) package shredded
1½ cups graham cracker crumbs
coconut
1 (6-ounce) package butterscotch chips
1 cup chopped nuts
1 (6-ounce) package chocolate chips
1 (14-ounce) can Eagle Brand milk

Directions

Melt butter in a 10½ x 15½-inch pan. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over butter and layer butterscotch and chocolate chips over crumbs. Sprinkle coconut and nuts over chips. Pour milk over this mixture and bake at 350°F for 25 minutes. Cut into squares.
