Salted Nut Bars

Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 cups brown sugar firmly packed
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 2 cups mixed whole salted nuts
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons butter cold
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 10 ounces white chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Heat Oven to 350
  2. In medium bowl combine flour, brown sugar, salt, and butter. Blend well (mixture will be crumbly). Press into 15x10 jellyroll pan.
  3. Bake 10-12 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle nuts over partially baked crust. Set aside.
  5. In a small pan, combine corn syrup, butter, water & chips. Bring to a boil over medium heat and boil 2 minutes, stirring continuously. Pour mixture over nuts.
  6. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown (watch carefully for burning). Cool, then cut into bars.
