Beer Cheese

Description

A CRM favorite

Ingredients

2 sticks Cracker Barrel extra sharp Cheddar cheese (10 oz)
2 cloves garlic
1 bottle beer (7 oz)
1/8 teaspoon salt
Tabasco sauce to taste

Directions

Grate cheese and garlic in a food processor; add remaining ingredients, mixing until thoroughly blended. The mixture will be soft but will harden in the refrigerator. It is better if made ahead of time. Serve with crackers, celery sticks or radish roses.

Notes

The best beer is the cheapest. You also want to make the beer stale.......you can do so by opening and let it set overnight in the refrigerator. Don't use too much beer....you only want a hint of the flavor.

Deb's Notes: I have used Tillamook extra sharp cheddar instead of Cracker Barrel, also have added 1-2 t Worcestershire.
