Caramelitas

Ingredients

Crust
2 Cups Flour
2 Cups Quick Cooking Oats
1 1/2 Cups Brown Sugar
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 1/4 Cups Butter
Filling
1 Jar Caramel Sauce, (approx. 12.5 ounce)
2 Tablespoons Flour
6 Ounces Chocolate Chip
1/2 Cup Nuts

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Grease 9 x13 pan. Mix crust and spread/press half in pan. Bake for 10 minutes
Combine caramel sauce and flour, blend well. Remove crust from oven. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts evenly and then drizzle sauce over mixture. Sprinkle remainder of crumb mixture on top. Bake 18-22 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 1 hour. Refrigerate until filling is set. Cut into bars.

Notes

If you can find it use Mrs. Smith's caramel sauce.
